What is CandleQuote?
CandleQuote is a simple Windows-based application giving you access to premium end-of-day data from over 70 exchanges around the world.
What markets can I find in premium data?
The data package covers over 70 exchanges worldwide. There are now over 150,000 tickers, and the number is growing.
What happens after the data package expires?
To continue using the data, you must extend the data package subscription. It's not renewed automatically, but you will be notified around 2-3 weeks beforehand.
Is fundamental data available?
No, but we plan to add it soon.
What data format does CandleQuote support?
CandleQuote data can be exported into two formats: Text and MetaStock. The text format can be configured in many ways so that you can easily import this data into virtually any application.
What data interval does CandleQuote support?
CandleQuote currently only supports end-of-day data.
What are the requirements for CandleQuote?
You need a Windows operating system.
Can data be retrieved via API?
No. Data can only be downloaded via CandleQuote.
How often is the data updated?
We update each stock exchange 2-3 hours after the market closes. Major US exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ, ARCA) are updated 15 minutes after the market closes. The exceptions are US mutual funds, PINK, OTCBB, and some indices, updated the following day at 3-4 am EST.
